DNS changes take time
When you update a DNS record, the change must propagate to resolvers worldwide. This can take minutes to 48 hours depending on the record's TTL.

TTL controls cache duration
Each DNS record has a TTL (Time to Live). Resolvers cache records for this duration before re-querying. Lower TTLs mean faster propagation.

Not all regions update at once
Different regions and ISPs have different resolver caches. A change may be live in Europe while still propagating in Asia-Pacific.
